I was born in 1970 in Turkey. After studying at the Radiology Department of UludaÄŸ University, I worked at the Faculty of Medicine of the same University. In addition, I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Department of Public Administration during this period.
My interest in painting started with wood sculpting. The figurative effects I gave to different objects I found from nature took their place in my paintings over time.
Since 1994, painting and sculpture studies have started to progress together. After the training of different masters, I opened my first exhibition with two friends in Bursa in 1999. I took part in many group exhibitions since 2015. I opened my first solo exhibition in 2019 at the Bursa State Fine Arts Gallery.
I like to paint with an expressionist approach. To see the invisible, to perceive the different, to see with your soul rather than your eyes and, in short, to reflect your emotions on the canvas ...
In this kind of work; Themes such as human deficiencies, anxiety, fear, loneliness, love, unconscious associations, death are effective. However, social events, nature and figurative works take their place mainly in my paintings.
I have always been interested in creating textures using different materials and the color distribution within these layers. I use this effect in my paintings from time to time. My search for different technique in this direction will continue.
